Welcome!

Hello everyone

I am delighted to be writing this article both as part of a welcome to our new website and also of course a welcome too the start of what is hopefully our path to a much more normal and enjoyable netball season in 2021/2022.

Life has been so very different for us all over the past 18 months and being able to look forward to a return to netball has I am sure been something positive for you all.

I had hoped that the Academy would be well advanced with plans to resurface the courts and also make improvements to the lighting and dugouts but with the pandemic these plans have been put on hold. But we will work with the Academy during this coming season to revisit this and hopefully get a time frame in place. In the meantime, they will be working to keep the courts to an acceptable level for play.

As you have seen we are going to run a Cup and Plate competition at the end of the season – on a knockout basis. Hopefully this will be something different for you all. Please remember any ideas you have are always welcome.

May I wish you all a very successful, enjoyable and hopefully complete season for 2021/2022.
