Bedfordshire Netball meant so much to Sylvia. She was involved in both Coaching and Officiating at a very high level. Her knowledge and expertise were greatly respected both as a Coach and an International Umpire. An exceptional volunteer, Sylvia was so generous with her time and sharing her expertise with all. Within the Bedford League she founded Grangers Netball club and mentored many of our senior umpires including Gary Burgess.
